Translating in the Community

Translating small documents and posters free of charge for voluntary organisations.

The Community Translator will co-ordinate between charities and professional translators, in the case of long complicated documents.

Contiuous monitoring will be undertaken to ensure an effective development of the service.

COMMUNITY TRANSLATION SERVICE

 

Group 2 – non-profit-making organisations and local businesses with between 2 and 10 members of staff:

Written translation: £20 per 1,000. Small translations free (business cards, letter heads etc).

Simultaneous translation: £20 an hour.

Renting simultaneous translation £25 per box (20 headsets) per day.
