WANTED: CYLCHOEDD TI A FI VOLUNTEERS
Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin is looking for enthusiastic people who have an interest in volunteering in Welsh mother and toddler groups within Bridgend County Borough. Are you a parent who has just had a baby and want to use your Welsh and socialise with other mothers? Are you someone who has an interest in working with children? Are you someone who is looking for work experience? Well here is your opportunity.
The aim of the cylch Ti a Fi is to offer parents/carers an opportunity to enjoy playing with their children and socialise in an informal Welsh atmosphere.
The Cylch Ti a Fi provides activities promoting the development of children from birth to school age. It is an opportunity for parents/carers to meet in an informal environment to share experiences and chat over a cuppa.
Attending the Cylch Ti a Fi allows children to:
* enjoy playing with toys
* sing and listen to stories
* play with water and clay
*...... and make friends!
Attending the Cylch Ti a Fi is a great opportunity to use the Welsh language if a learner or fluent Welsh speaker. The Cylch Ti a Fi activities will reinforce the use of Welsh language at home and gives non-Welsh speaking families the opportunity to use Welsh for the first time with their children.
If you are interested in helping set up or attending a mother and toddlers group then contact Kate Parry, Development Officer for MYM on 07800 540221 or email kate.parry@mym.co.uk.
